Antique Industrial Standing Height Table, $350

Some people might call this an antique drafting table. I don’t. I call it an antique industrial standing height desk. What is the point, some might ask, of having a standing height desk? Aren’t you supposed to sit down behind a desk? Somebody tell that to Ernest Hemingway, famous for using a typewriter on a standing height desk. Somebody tell that to Philip Roth, user of a standing height desk. If you are ready to allow your body the opportunity to no longer be stifled in a chair, what better way than with this beautiful, aged wood frame on casters, in an antique green with a solid steel top? $350.

Deep Red Side Tables, $200/pair

These high gloss, deep red side tables are perfect for the person who wants color (but not a neon punch in the face) and wants style (but not an abstract nightmare). The finish and relatively sedate form perform the essential function of shining when its looked at, but not sticking out. The tops of the tables actually come off and act as serving trays. In a New York apartment, whenever your furniture can pull double duty like that, pay attention.

$200 for the pair, or $100 each.

Vintage Industrial Cart (green), $400

One of a number of our extraordinary vintage metal carts from a specialty store in Ohio. It has an indomitable frame and structure of green steel. This piece (and our others like it) have the much sought after feel of heirloom items from a forgotten time. Use it in a home as a makeshift kitchen island, or in a home office as a printer stand/supply table. Its character cannot go unnoticed.

Measures 36”L x 24”w x 36”h and yours for $400.

Solid Cypress Plank, Live Edge Table, $2,250 (QTY 2)

8 feet long x approx. 40 inches wide of solid cypress (90% sure its cypress) plank, live edge table with wrought iron base.  Each table and base is unique unto itself, individually crafted of one solid piece of shaved, sanded and lightly lacquered cypress, and perfectly patinaed iron, respectively.  Sizes are approximate as the tables are of the same organic proportions of the trees from which they grew - some with tapering edges, some without; some with knots, some without; some with lively edges, some with edges a bit less… edgy (such is nature!).

At this price, buy the table now, put it in the house when the time is right.

$2,250, we have two.

Vintage Reception Desk, $350

This is a true original. Vintage and hip beyond belief, this desk has some wear and some cracks in the veneer at the base, but the scars are what makes things even more beautiful! Everything from the legs with brass feet, to the brass drawer pulls are original. Not a desk to be pushed in the corner, but to be put on display.

$350 is a small price to pay to receive guests in such style.
